Day 60; Misty Moon

I know I've already done a moon and tree photo. But the moon was so lovely last night that I couldn't resist.

Day 59: Little and Large

Having an interactive whiteboard is a godsend when asking the children to talk about and choose which photos are going to go onto their photo blog. I love my Smartboard!

Day 58: Here Be Wild Things!

I love "Where The Wild Things Are" and so does my class.

Day 57: Spots on Leaves

I was walking out of my classroom and saw these spotty leaves. I thought that they looked quite interesting. I love the Autumn colours too.

Day 56: Marvellous Moneybox

I love this little tiki moneybox. It was a gift from a friend, and just looking at it brightens my day.

Day 55: I Love Dragons!

I spent all day reading and so haven't had a chance to get out and take a photo, so I decided to share with you my lovely dragon statue. Strangely enough, it really reminds me of my cat Luna - it's just got her way about it. At the moment she's on my table with her sister - to be displayed another time - but I need to find a fun place somewhere around the house to put her.

A Missing Day

Oops. It appears that I've forgotten to do Thursday. I could have sworn that I'd posted a photo yesterday, bit it seems that I didn't. Must have imagined it. Mind you, I did spend most of yesterday thinking it was Friday - wishful thinking obviously.

Day 53: Plant Paradise

It seems to be a month for plants this month. But we have so many really nice ones in school that I just can't help myself. This one's just outside the school office.

Day 52: Peace Garden Plant

Our peace garden has such lovely plants in it. It's a pleasure to sit there, and really nice to take a camera in as well.

Day 51: Red Flowers

There are some really pretty flowers in and around school. I came across these lovely red ones just outside the office today. Love the colour.

Day 50: Raindrops on White Petals

I do like to see raindrops on flowers and plants. They almost make you see normal, everyday things in new ways. This flower was all on its own surrounded by lavender and really stood out.

Day 49: Bird on a Wire

I really liked the way that this bird was framed by the wires. It took a while to get it standing sideways instead of straight on though.

Day 48: Dragon!

Went to see "How To Train Your Dragon" in 3D. Sooo much fun! On the way home, found this tree. It looks kinda dragon-ey. Wonder where else I can find a dragon in the world around me. New challenge!

Day 47: What is it, Luney?

My cat, Luna, was absolutely fascinated by the mantis that was on the window. It didn't like her though, and moved quite soon after this photo was taken.

Day 46: Branches

I saw this interesting tree out and about and wanted to get a good photo of it. Thanks to my brother-in-law, Andy Avery, for the help!

Day 45: Ground and Greens

It's been overcast today and I've been lacking in inspiration, so I turned to my felt tips again and quite like the way that this photo turned out.

Day 44: Charli and Andy in NZ

My sister and brother-in-law finally arrived from the UK. I've been so excited and am really happy that they arrived safe and sound with no last minute mishaps. They were especially pleased to have some sunshine after a particularly nasty winter. They look really relaxed here and not jet lagged at all. Surprising, really.

Day 43: Attack fo the Giant Seagull!

We went to Mission Bay today and it turned out that there was a huge promotion for the tv show "The Pacific". There were boats and men in army uniforms with guns and planes flying past with explosions and all sorts of interesting stuff going on. This photo of one of the boats turned out to have a bit of a surprise in it which made me laugh muchly. What appears to be a giant seagull seems to be attacking the boat! My very own special effects - more "Clash of the Titans" than "The Pacific". If only everyone on deck was cowering and pointing it would have been even better.

Day 42: Cheat in Pink!

I've been cleaning all day in preparation for my sister and brother in law arriving from the UK tomorrow.
So I'm cheating today. I took this photo some time ago and ended up not using it. Thank goodness because it means that I can use it today.

Day 41: Autumnal Colours

I saw this on the ground and was really drawn to the colours of the leaves. I love the colours of autumn.

Day 40: Red Leaves in Sunshine

I have no idea what this plant is, but it doesn't take a lot of looking after so I can't kill it very easily, which is good. I do love the colour of the leaves though and today the bright sun has made the leaves really glow.

Day 39: Stripes and Spots

I hadn't really noticed when I took the photo, I just liked the darker green stripes down the middle of the leaves, but I really like the yellow spots towards the bottom of the photo.

Day 38: What's Inside Your Easter Egg?

Only a couple of days late, but this interesting little toy was inside my Easter Egg. Not quite sure what it is - perhaps it's meant to be a fish. Don't know. But it's bright and cute and my cats love it!

Day 37: Greens and Blues

I love these pens that click together. It makes it easy to look after them, but it also makes it easy to create nice lines of colours.

Day 36: Plant in Pink

I don't normally mess with my photos after I've taken them - although I do enjoy doing so when I get the chance. While I liked this photo as it was, I think it's much better with a pink wash over the top.

Day 35: Pretty Flowers

I've never seen these flowers before. Or should I say that I have seen them but never really looked at them. Never been aware that these flowers are so interesting and pretty, with their change of colour on the inside. I must have walked past them many times before, but I have never really noticed them.

Day 34: Origami Flower and Snail

When a friend was over recently, she made a lovely origami flower and a snail. The flower's a little bit crushed now, bu I still think that they look really cool.

Day 33: Autumn Leaves

This fantastic leaf caught my eye as I was walking around.
It was all on it's own on the pavement. The colour of it really struck me.
