Day 151: Foggy Days

There's something so nice about foggy days. It's makes me feel like I'm the only person in the world. Unfortunately I wasn't able to stay inside nice and warm inside my house, inside my bed. But then I wouldn't have been able to see the fog that much. Myeh! This is a view of our school field. Nice, eh?

I have a lovely little piece of citrine. I've never normally been a fan of it, but this one just called to me.

I just love my new stapler. It was almost worth breaking my other one just to be able to get this new bright pink one. Not that I did it on purpose of course.

I was wandering past the school office this afternoon when my eye was caught by a flash of red. I have never noticed that this plant has red flowers bits hidden away inside the tangle of leaves. It really cheered me up.

It's the last day of the holidays, and it's time to just chill out an relax. So I'm going to put my coloured lights on and just prepare myself for the start of term tomorrow.

Further to my weather related photos that don't actually have anything to do with the weather... it was sunny today!!!! And, as long as you stayed out of the shade, actually quite warm as well. Yeah!!! So I thought I'd use a photo of my sun mask to represent my happiness! Heh!

Day 133: Swan Synchronised Swimming

It was such a lovely day today and the sun was out and shining. So I went out to Western Springs with my friend and her two little girls. What a lovely walk we had. On the way around, I noticed these two swans who were quite lovey-dovey with each other. I really wanted a shot of them making a heart shape - which they did a lot - but I was never quick enough. However, I did get this great shot of them swimming side by side, so I'm quite pleased.

Day 132: Brrrr!!!!

Even though the sun was out today, it's been really chilly! Brrrr!

Day 130: Turtle Head Pen

I found this fantastic pen at my school book fair and gave it to my brother in law because he loves turtles. It was so cute that I couldn't resist taking some shots of it today while my sister was making tea.


And the best bit is, when you squeeze its head, its eyes pop out! Heheheheh!

Needless to say, it went down very well.

I'm up visiting my sister at the moment and she does the most heavenly chocolate ganache cake ever! The best bit about it is that it involves huge amounts of melted chocolate and I get to lick the bowl afterwards! Yeah!!!

Day 123: Pretty Shoes

I was wondering what to take a photo of the other day and my mum suggested shoes. I have quite a few pretty shoes. I do like shoes. And it was so much fun to think about angles and how to make the shoe look good. And I only took photos of this shoe. I can't wait to have a play with the others.
