Well, I am really not doing very well this year. And I had so hoped to do better.Anyway, I went to the Japan Day at the ASB showgrounds today. There was such a lot going on and some great stalls, displays and performances. There was also lots of great smelling food stalls.
These photos are of 2 of the displays that really caught my eye. There was a display of flower arrangements. The arrangements were interesting and very beautiful. As I walked into the hall, this huge and gorgeous arrangement was straight in front of me and I just had to take a photo. Isn't it gorgeous?
This other photo was of a gorgeous kimono from the Edo Period - I think. I was astounded by the detail and the beauty of it.
